Rate Range- A General Guide
The voice industry typically uses the GVAA Rates (Global Voice Acting Academy) and Gravy For The Brain. These are meant to be a guide but are certainly flexible depending on your needs and budget. A great way to save money is to work with Raj Hamilton Voice Services, LLC directly and avoid commissions.
Key GVAA Rate Guide Components (Approximate Ranges)
Session fee may be included of $300-$500 in addition to the project cost to cover production and engineering.

Commercial (Local - 3 Months): $300 - $400

Commercial (National - 3 Months): $600 - $1,800+.

Corporate/Industrial Narration: $350 - $450 (1-2 min) to $1,750+ (40-60 min).

Audiobooks: $200 - $300+ per finished hour (PFH).
E-Learning/Corporate/Explainer Videos
These typically do not have royalties so the rates are generated differently. Per Gravy For The Brain:
Typical Average : $.20 per word concept; $35 per finished minute concept ; $2400 per finished hour concept
Typical Upper : $.30 per word concept; $50 per finished minute concept; $3600 per finished hour concept
Phone/IVR Rates
May include $50-$60 production/engineering fee.
